Roskilde Festival

Hvert år tager vi på Roskilde Festival og det er med til at støtte foreningen økonomisk, men også et tilbud for de unge mennesker vi arbejder med, til at opleve et fællesskab og samarbejde i det frivillige arbejde.

Her kan man læse omkring, hvilken rolle man har på festivalen og hvilken indsats man skal bidrage med, hvis man skal være frivillig hos os.

Krav

For at være en del af vores holds skal du være 18+ ¨år, da det er en funktion på festivalen, der omhandler kontakt med andre mennesker og det kræver man er voksen.
Vi kræver også at du skal kunne tale dansk, og have en grundlæggende forståelse for engelsk, men vi tager også imod engelsktalende frivillige og har en god erfaring med dem.

Om opgaven

Vores ansvarsområde på Indre Plads omhandler port-kontrol i frivillige porte. Dvs. man tjekker for adgangsgivende armbånd og kommercielle tjek, dvs. drikkevarer og andet der medbringes ind på pladsen.

Man har 4 vagter af 8 timer fordelt på 9 dage, så man har 2 vagter før musikken og 2 vagter under. Dvs. 32 timer i alt i løbet af hele festivalen.
Hvis man er en gruppe, der gerne vil afsted sammen er det en mulighed da vi søger over 100 frivillige.

Om dig

I portene har vi meget kontakt med både andre frivillige og almindelige deltager på festivalen, derfor er det vigtigt at du er udadvendt, smilende og social. Vi er med til at gøre festivaloplevelsen god for begge grupper og det er derfor vigtigt at vi har engageret frivillige, der er med til at sprede en god atmosfære og som gør det bedste vi kan for at løse opgaven. 

Om os

Foreningen GRØN er dedikeret til at skabe et solidt fundament for unge i Holbæk Kommune, så de er godt rustet til at træde ind i voksenlivet med positive forudsætninger og muligheder. Foreningen bestræber sig på at støtte unge med økonomiske og sociale udfordringer gennem frivilligt foreningsarbejde, med udgangspunkt i arbejdet med festival. Vi ønsker på sigt at forbinde unge med muligheder, ressourcer og organisationer i det bredere samfund, som kan hjælpe med at realisere deres potentiale. 

Vi tilbyder

I vores base er vores fællesskab og vi bestræber os på at lave arrangementer, der er med til at ryste de frivillige sammen og give dem en god oplevelse på festivalen. Det kan være at vi tager op og ser koncerter sammen, spiller banko med forskellige præmier eller noget helt tredje.
Du vil have fuld adgang til festivalen, forplejning under din vagt, mulighed for at oplade din telefon i basecamp og adgang til Volunteer Village.

Every year, we attend the Roskilde Festival, which helps support the organization financially. It also provides an opportunity for the young people we work with to experience community and collaboration through volunteer work.

Here, you can read about the role you will have at the festival and the contribution you are expected to make if you wish to volunteer with us.

Requirements

To be part of our team, you must be 18 years or older, as this role at the festival involves interaction with others, which requires a level of maturity.

We also require that you can speak Danish and have a basic understanding of English. However, we also welcome English-speaking volunteers and have had great experiences working with them.

About the assignment

Our area of responsibility in the Inner Area involves gate control at volunteer entrances. This means checking for valid wristbands and conducting commercial checks, such as inspecting beverages and other items brought onto the grounds.

Volunteers are scheduled for four 8-hour shifts over 9 days, with 2 shifts before the music starts and 2 during the festival. This amounts to a total of 32 hours throughout the entire festival.

If you're part of a group that wants to attend together, this is an option as we are looking for over 100 volunteers.

About you

At the gates, we have a lot of contact with both other volunteers and regular participants at the festival, so it is important that you are outgoing, smiling and social. We help to make the festival experience good for both groups and it is therefore important that we have engaged volunteers who help to spread a good atmosphere and who do the best we can to solve the task. 

About us

The association GRØN is dedicated to creating a solid foundation for young people in Holbæk, so that they are well equipped to enter adulthood with positive prerequisites and opportunities. The association endeavors to support young people with economic and social challenges through voluntary work, based on the work with the festival. In the long term, we want to connect young people with opportunities, resources and organizations in the wider community that can help realize their potential. 

We offer

At our base is our community and we strive to create events that help shake the volunteers together and give them a good experience at the festival. It could be that we go up and see concerts together, play bingo with different prizes or something else entirely.

You will have full access to the festival, meals during your shift, the possibility to charge your phone in base camp and access to the Volunteer Village.
